Tense Drift

Flags narrative paragraphs where verb tense shifts between past and present.

What It Does

Counts past-tense verbs (-ed endings) and present-tense verbs within each narrative paragraph. When a minority tense represents less than 30% of verbs, it's flagged as drift.
